In São José dos Campos, SP, a great option for running is the parque da cidade, in the Santana neighborhood. This park has a large green area. The running/walking track has the length of 1800 meter and is 90% surrounded by trees, which makes running very pleasant because you run under the shadows. The park also has a beautiful lake, contoured by the running track. The negative point is that the parks is closed at 7:00 pm and it does not have illumination.
