Good day! I live in Belo Horizonte and we have a wonderful place for running that is “Lagoa dos Ingleses” (lagoon). It is at the Belo Horizonte exit to Rio de Janeiro. The area is flat and surrounded by mountains, the soil is soft, dirt, and there are wonderful views of the lagoon and the mountains. Other good place for running is at the “Rio das Pedras” condominium, 15 kilometers from downtown. This is a mountain terrain with many stones. The area is at high altitude, so the weather is nice and the views are great. There is not water to drink along the course, so you should bring it. There are not toilets either. Since it is a hilly course, it is not recommendable to people with physical handicaps.
