A tour through the sceenic old (1200) city of Amberg in Bavaria, Germany. Recommended start is at the backside of the "Drahthammerschloss" but virtually you can start anywhere at the city wall to enter the round course. Start at the backyard of Hotel Drahthammerschloss and run along the river, towards the city (1 mile). Pass the indoor pool and take a right just before the city wall in front of two arcs spanning the river. Run along the city wall around the city (2 miles). When back to the indoor pool, take a right again and run back to the hotel. Total distance then 4 miles. If you want to extend the run, when back at the hotel just go over the little bridge again right and run in counterclockwise within the park. One round is 0.5 mile. Run as much as you want. Have fun.
