Another option on Hong Kong Island is a dedicated tartan jogging track around a football/rugby pitch in Causeway Bay. There are changing rooms and showers available, and the track is flat and boring, but at least it is there! The total distance is 1 kilometer with 100 meters marker posts. How to get to it: the nearest MTR station is Tin Hau. Make your way to Causeway Road and head back towards Causeway Bay. The sports field is on the landward side of the road. You can also take the tram, which drops you off just across the road from the ground, or any bus heading for North Point, Chai Wan, Quarry Bay, etcetera. I have only ever used this when we couldn't use the pitch for rugby training because it was waterlogged!
