This is a long pavement run from South London though the city finishing in North London. I love it because it is a busy route showing all the different attitudes in London, it crosses the Thames giving a view that never fails to take my breath away every time I cross. And I love nothing more than watching the city people go about their business while I run by unnoticed (mostly). The run starts at my work place Camberwell Green, run up Camberwell green until you reach Elephant and Castle. Take London Road, then Waterloo Road over Waterloo bridge. Run half of Aldwych (taking in the strand) and turn left onto Kingsway until you reach Holborn Underground Street. Continue in the same direction the road changes to Southampton Row, keep going straight until youreach Euston Street. Again keep going straight till you reach Camden Town TubeStreet. From Camden Town you are on your home straight, take Kentish Town Road, keep going straight into Fortess Road, nearly there. Again straight intoJunction Road until you reach Archway Tube Street. All done... enjoy thepleasures of Archway before running back the way you came (or not). Thisroute is approximately 8 miles one way. Along this route are many shops many people, no toilet stops and stairs that could be difficult for less-abled bodies.
