A 8 km run in Stellenbosch mountain. Fairly easy climbing for about 600 metres behind the athletic stadium takes you onto a service road that goes for about 4 km before you descent down to the town of Stellenbosch again from where it is another 4 km to where you started. There is no water nor toilet facilities in the mountain itself but you can find all this at the clubhouse for the Maties Ac situated at the start and thus finish of the run. The most awesome scenery of the town of Stellenbosch which is known for its mountains and winelands. Also for the very well known University of Stellenbosch.
