Running in Puerto Rico is fantastic. The breezes make it possible to head out any time of day, and the terrain and scenery are incomparable. Old San Juan to Condado beach is four miles round trip cliff side with an ocean view along Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Running within the old city can be tricky since the roads are a few hundred years old, but completely worth it. The architecture and changes in light are completely dramatic. The hills are wicked on my Florida legs, and the citizens of Old San Juan live with their doors and hearts open to the street.
