In Cozumel you will intensely enjoy a great scenic jogging experience, with an unforgettable look to the Caribbean Sea and to the picturesque town, also known as San Miguel. I strongly recommend jogging during the sunset. Cozumel is known by the poets as "The Island of the Inflamed Sunsets" so you will be extremely delighted while jogging. The recommended course is: start at the Costal Avenue (Avenida Costera Rafael Melgar) in the residential area of the Military Air Base. This is also known as the start of the "Malecon". Go south jogging using the west sidewalk and enjoy long runs next to the sea, looking at the amazing sun setting in the sea at your rigth hand side and feel the "port ambiance" passing by the "Custom Dock", "Punta Langosta Dock" and finishing in the cruiseliners terminal "Puerta Maya". You may finish there or return on the same scenic course to the starting point at the Military Air Base. Along the course there are plenty taxi cabs to take you back to your hotel or residence. It is highly recommended to bring with you enough liquids for hydration during your jogging, specially during summer where temperatures are pretty high and humidity will make your sweating an incredible and unforgettable pleasure.
