You cannot miss the "new" lake near the center of the town. There is a nice road around it. Very often there are more sportsmen/women doing different kind of sports. Around the lake it is about 5 kilometers so it is easy to do a ten or fifteen kilometers run. There is a nice, big statue called Mother. If you follow the staircase up, you will arrive at the famous river Wolga. Follow the river and you can do a lot more miles. It is all nice and cosy. I ran there in June, great weather, but I wonder how it'll be in that long Russian winter in the republic of Chuvashia!
