Starting from Le Tholonet or Bibemus, a few kilometers east of Aix, the loop around the Zola lake is a must-to-run: magnificent scenery, great view on the area especially the Sainte-Victoire massif, which is another goal. One needs about one hour for the loop (it is almost flat), going up the Sainte-Victoire adds 600 meters vertical. Drinking water available at the parking lot of the "barrage Bimont", and at Le Tholonet village (and only there!).
