You would not expect it, but Frankfurt offers a number of brilliant running tracks. The Grüneburgpark in Frankfurt's Westend offers a superb running opportunity for runners of any level. The big lap (about 3 kilometers) consists of hillier and flat bits. You will enjoy the nice forest like scenery. On Saturdays and particular Sundays early runs (before 11:00) are highly recommended.
