Have an unexpectedly perfect run, joined by butterflies and birds singing, right in the middle of the city: the Philopappus hill can be accessed by feet from Thision, or from Sindagma/Plaka (walk to the temple of Zeus, turn right into Dionisiou Aeropagou, along the Southern side of the Acropolis). Lots of paths on the hill, fantastic views overlooking Athens, the sea, Saronic Islands, and the Acropolis. Take a camera, and visit Aeropagus, St. Pauls speech - place etc. on the run!
