Get a bit of all, about 22 kilometers: from the city center on the Northern bank of the Danube run West almost to the river Naab, after passing the Beergarden (Gasthof Krieger, car parking) follow the blue hiking signs to the right, through the village, up the hill. Careful, check the signs on the top for finding the right way through the fields on top of the hill, enter the woods, follow the hiking signs down to Etterzhausen, cross the Naab bridge, take the Naab cycle path Southwards back to the Danube, and then back Eastwards along the Danube. For more running in the forest, get a hiking map and follow the marked trails - lots of great running! Road running out and back is best along the river Regen, East of the city center.
