You can start from the center and go out the city's walls through one of the gates. Then you can run around the walls untill you see, in distance, a Roman aqueduct. At this point follow the road leading to the aqueduct, and after passing under it, turn left at the first road (there is a soccer field on the right side). As you begin to go uphill, turn one more time at the first road, this time going right, and continue arriving to some old mills. The course is among olive and cork trees, and this is the typical Portuguese environment.
