You can run along the course of the local "Commodore Isaac Hull Thanksgiving Day 5K Road Race". The course begins and ends on the Riverwalk in Shelton. Traverse Canal Street and Howe Avenue in Shelton before crossing the Derby/Shelton Bridge onto Main Street in Derby. Then head up Elizabeth Street in Derby past the historical Sterling Opera House and the beautiful Town Green. Turn around at the Derby Public Library and head back along the same course.
