I highly reccomend Ormberget, a few kilometres from central Luleå. The tracks range from about 1.5 to 10 kilometers (total length 25 kilometers). In the winter, the same tracks are very well prepared for cross-country skiing. (And there is a hill for downhill skiing too). In the summer, it's never dark, but in the winter it's good to know that the 7.5 km track and the shorter ones have electric lighting. In the main building at the start, you can shower, take a sauna, swim in the pool and eat at the restaurant. From the sauna, you have a very nice view over Luleå. The swimming pool water is cold, but if you come there directly from the sauna, the temperature is just perfect! So, isn't there anything bad to say about Ormberget? Well, if you run there every day, you may see a snake once or twice a year. If you attack it, it may bite you, and that's most unpleasant, but usually not dangerous. If you are allergic against the poison, however, it can be dangerous, but from what I know, that is very unusual. (That's all I know. If you think you need more specific information, I suppuse you can ask a doctor about it).
