Next to the Rio Pitillal (between NH Krystal and Holiday Inn hotels) there is a very nice (and flat) dirt road that follows the river bank. About 2.5 kilometers each way. If the river is sufficiently dry you can run on one bank, cross, and come back on the other. Popular with local families and tourists (particularly early morning and late afternoon). On the river you can see some great bird life.
