Hayama offers very scenic routes which can incorporate flat or hilly variations. Start from the Emperors summer residence, go left and follow the road along the coastline, fantastic views and on the way back a perfect view of Mount Fuji across the water and in the distance. Alternatively, after 4-5 kilometers on the way out follow the road up to Shonan village and down the other side to the Yokosuka road taking in hills, trees and the ubiquitous golf course. Only drawback are the narrow roads so be careful.
