I ran a marathon in Gold Coast, the surfers' paradise. It is the most beautiful stretch of beach I have probably ever seen. There are miles of paths and streets surrounded by housing and shopping and just beautiful beaches! I would strongly recommend this to anyone - whether out for a jog/stroll or interested in a marathon! There are all types of resources available, drinking fountains, stores, park-type restrooms, and others in stores, restaurants, etc. and everyone along the way is very friendly!
