I live near Waseda and am close to quiet residential districts. I usually run along Kanda Gawa (both sides of the 1.8 kilometers strip between Edogawabashi Dori near Four Season Hotel and Meiji Dori are mostly closed to traffic). There are quiet residential areas nearby which are great for exploring and adding variety to my runs, and the hilly terrain in many side streets is great for hill runs. On Sundays, I run along Kagurazaka Dori (closed on most Sundays), towards the national gardens in Kudanshita and then around the Imperial Palace, or along the outer palace moat from Iidabashi to the Akasaka guest house and on to Jingu gardens.
