At night and in winter, the Olympiapark is the best place to run in Munich. There are street lights on all night, and the ways are sufficiently cleared of snow, or at least well gritted. You can easily run 10 kilometers without running the same track twice. There is also a track of 5 kilometers measured exactly according to Aims rules. It starts in the back of the stadium near the parking lots under a bridge. Include the Olympic City beyond the city highway (there are several bridges), it is carfree and green. You can run a big circle around it. The Olympic Park is absolutely safe at night. You may take a shower in the Olympic indoor pool.
