My most often run route on this island starts at The Quality Inn TradewindsHotel (where I stayed for 3.5 months) in the village of Tafuna. From there,you take a left turn down to the main road and again turn left. Once youare on the main road, run up past Cost-U-Less, the Football field, OMV andall the way on to the Pago Pago International Airport. Make sure you wave at the Law Enforcement Officers at the entrance to the airport and tell them I sent you there. Once you reach the curbside for checking in at the airline counters, you turn right around and run all the way back, following the same route. Please bear in mind that the route does not always have sidewalks, so you may have to cross the street at intervals in order to stay on the sidewalks. This run will take up about 3 miles.
