The course that I run very frequently, as I happen to live in the area, is Fu Xing Park, which happens to be where the night clubs Park 97, California Club, and Guandi area. It is not exactly a real running course, but there is an asphalt/concrete trail that goes around this park (as well as a big grassy lawn in the park). I like running here because there are a lot of old tall trees that fill up the place, and most of the park is not immediately in contact with the city streets, so you do not feel like you are running on a crowded smoggy car-filled street. Sometimes I feel like I am immersed in this big forest! If you are not into lots of people watching you as you run, then it is best to get your running done before 7:30 in the morning, during lunch hours, or later in the afternoon. But it can be quite entertaining watching what Chinese people do for exercise in these parks.
