Cheltenham lies at the foot of two hills, both around 1,000 feet. Cleeve Hill is an absolute maze of paths, some open around Cleeve Cloud where you can hardly fail to enjoy the fabulous views and the sound of skylarks, and from here you can strike out in almost any direction through woods, valleys, along rivers, with hardly any need to venture onto a road. Leckhampton Hill is also dotted with paths, and from here you can venture forth in almost any direction, again along wonderful tracks and paths.
