Mosvatnet is a small lake just outside the city center. Scenery shifts from open grassfields to woods, and the foot- and bikepath around the lake is 3 kilometers, all flat and gravel. Stavanger Swimming Stadioum called Gamlingen is nearby, with year-round outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzis, sauna and work-out room with weights and spinning bikes.
