NordPark! Walk up to the gondola station next to the zoo. Take the FahrKart (gondola) up to the NordPark, where you will be dropped off along a ridge offering truly unlimited trail running/hiking trails. You have everything from long, slow elevation change to crumbly scrambles that may require more skill. The views of Innsbruck and surrounding towns are amazing. After running many spectacular spots in Tirol, this was the a highlight. After your run, there is a large cafe/restaurant that offers outdoor seating. Relax as paragliders and mountain bikers soar by on a sunny afternoon. Bring your camera, this run warrants buying a disposable at the least if you do not have one with you. Enjoy!
