Another route I like to run is towards Salt. I leave from the covered street in the Medina (next to the kasaba) and run to the Marjane by the river. There is an abandoned closed road with a bridge leading across the river into Salt which is great for running on, particularly around sunset. It is also used by shepards and goat hearders. Across the bridge and to the amusement park on the other side is about 10-12 kilometers.
