Although Plymouth is a developed urban area, there are a number of beautiful parks and runs to enjoy. The most rewarding is the Plym Valley trail on the edge of town. The route follows the Plym River for 7.5 miles through national trust property. In town there is the 4 mile loop around Central Park which is pleasant and wooded.
