Hi there! I lived one year in Paris, in the wonderful Marais. My every morning trial (nearly one hour): start rue Vieille du Temple, cross the Seine at Pont Louis Philippe, take the Quai de Bourbon on the left, at the end of Ile Saint-Louis enter the little square Bayre (beautiful sunrise). Cross the Seine on Pont Sully and immediately to the left take the riverside (no cars, nice park) along the Seine to Place Valhubert. Enter the Jardin des Plantes. One loop in this beautiful garden is about 2-3 kilometers (my favourite is the little hill at the end, where you have a splendid view over Paris). You can extend your way back by longing the Seine (rive gauche) to the Louvre or even the Eiffel tower. My turn is at the end of the Isle de la Cite and than back to the Marais. Enjoy!
