Tasman Bridge - From the city head down to the bottom end of Davey Street where the intercity bike track follows the Derwent River. Follow the track as far as the Tasman Bridge (there is a water tap near the bottom of the steps to the bridge). Here you leave the bike track and climb the bridge (stick to the city side of the bridge - the southerly winds usually mean less petrol fumes!). Once you reach the western shore descend down to the river again where a walking track gives you the choice of a southern route to Bellerive or northern route to Lindisfarne (public toilet). Return via the same route which is approximately 6-7 kilometers each way.
