Twentyfive minutes from the centre of Brisbane city is Ferny Grove. Travel along Samford road towards Samford and there is a picnic ground called Ironbark Gully. There is walking track into the bushland, but a steep climb to the wider and better horse tracks. You can make your own courses, not very hilly and all dirt tracks. Occasionally you will come across other runners but overall a very pleasant and peaceful run.
