A reasonably flat 10-11 mile course which takes in some of the best sights of the architecture and waterways of Bath. Start behind the Bath railway station at Widcombe and head East on the Kennet and Avon canal. Follow the canal until the George pub at Bathampton where you turn left onto the road down towards the river and the Bathampton Mill pub. Go across the toll bridge and then turn left onto London Road East. Follow London Road back into Bath and up past Hedgemead Park and into the Paragon and then George Street. From George Street, turn left into Gay Street and then immediately right into Queens Parade and then right again into the road to Victoria Park. Follow this road past the Royal Crescent and then left into Marlborough Buildings. Follow it down to Upper Bristol Road where you turn right. Follow this road out past the Windsor Bridge lights and turn left into Lockbrook Road where you will see a footpath that takes you through some lawns to the river. At the river, turn left and follow it back to the railway station.
