Given the current state of things in Montserrat (still recovering from the impacts of the years of volcanic eruptions) there is no town to speak of, no parks and some areas of the island are inaccessible. However, there are some very pleasant trails within the Centre Hills region for walkers or runners, for example The Cot trail or Lawyers Mountain. I would recommend that you contact the Montserrat National Trust to get the latest information. They are putting together maps and info on the various trails that are being maintained or newly created.
