Gee, Dunedin may be cold. It really is a beautiful city though. Just got back from there, and enjoyed an enjoyable run through the city. I started by running north to Baldwin Street (claimed locally to be the steepest residential street in the world). It proved to be a top hill run, the view from the top was marvellous. Then I turned south and ran through Dunedin's excellent Botanical Gardens, and the historic University of Otago, a replica of Edinburgh University in Scotland. So picturesque with a river running through it, lovely quaint bridges and lawns. The famous Carisbrook rugby ground is nearby too, as is a Cadbury chocolate factory and I rounded both of these with comfort. You will notice many beautiful pubs, churches and old government buildings in particular around Dunedin. A pleasure to explore.
