Western Sahara is safe in majority of areas. The only dangerous areas are off limits for civilians (permission needed from the local army). From east of Laayoune beginning in Bou Kra is off limits area. It is very pleasant to jog in the morning in Laayoune, along the bridge and also along the river that flows into the ocean. Palm trees and desert scenery. The coast is also very nice to explore (no problems will be found).
