There are two main areas for running in Caracas, if you don't care to go up into the mountains. One place is the Parque del Este, which is in the center of the city, and has lots of runners there in the mornings. It is flat and has lots of paths to run on. I've heard it called the "Lungs of Caracas". The other site is a 30+ minute drive south east of the city, in the suburb called La Lagunita. This is the "Beverly Hills" of Caracas, and lots of people run on the streets that circle the La Lagunita Country Club. Once around equals 6 kilometers exactly. Here you may find yourself slightly winded from a couple of decent hills and the altitude of the city, around 4000 feet, I believe. It's hard to find good places to run here, because of traffic and hills, but I think these two are the best.
