The forest of Chantilly is easily accessible from the center of town. Route De L'Aigle, the avenue that runs toward the Chateau has trails on the right to enter the forest. Trails are wide and well groomed. If one forgets which way out, a convergence of roads in the center has a signpost to help get your bearings. After exiting the forest turn right on Route De L'Aigle to run past Chateau Conde and the Musee Vivant du Cheval, the most elaborate stable in the world. Continue past the stable on either Rue Du Connetable (right side) or Chemin des Officiers on the Hippodrome (racetrack) side to Avenue Du Marchal Joffre and the town center.
