For a short 2 mile run, there is a track at Hazelwood in Sligo. It is part of a nature walk, and apart from watching out for roots of trees, it is a beautiful peaceful run. To complete the full 2 mile circuit, start in the car park, and head uphill towards the wood (there is a gap neither side of the barrier). Continue on the path for around a mile, and as you head downhill towards the lake, you turn left at the t-junction and simply continue to follow the trail with the lake on your right hand side until you arrive back at the car park.
