One of the nicest runs in Sydney commences at the famous seaside suburb of Bondi (a favourite with overseas visitors). The run follows the coastline south and has spectacular views of the (South) Pacific ocean and the surfing beaches of Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte before climbing the low cliffs and winding its way around a number of bays including Clovelly, Gordons and Coogee. The run has a mixture of gradients and some stairs but is quite an easy out and back course. From Bondi to Coogee is approximately five kilometres so the round trip is about eleven kilometres but the track is good and, although very popular with joggers and walkers, is never too crowded. This run can be repeated many times without ever getting bored with the scenery. The weather in Sydney is never too bad with summer temperatures around 30 °C (high) and 15 °C (low) and winter around 16 °C (high) and 10 °C (low). The people are friendly and welcome any overseas visitors. There are many cafes or places to rest and enjoy the views along the way.
