You can find an indeed lovely and varied run along the biggest river in Denmark (Gudenåen). Follow the river from the city all the way to Fladbro forest where there is a deer park and a marked course about 6 kilometres long called "Hjertesti" which means "heart trail". It is truly a lovely place to run. At Fladbro forest there are several parking places if you don't want to do the river.
