My favorite run in Amsterdam is around the Sloterplas (a lake) in the western part of the city of about 6 kilometers. You can see the map of the run at www.wandelwebsite.nl/dagwandeling/sloterplas/map_sloterplas.html. Running from my house to the lake, then running around the lake and after that back to my house is 9 kilometers.
