This run gives you best of both worlds. You run along the canal and river you pass the historical urban settings of Utrecht, you continue along the red light district located at little boats on de Vecht and further on you continue in the beautiful green scenery of Zuilen and Oud Zuylen. Starting from the center you follow de Oude Gracht toward Zuilen en Oud Zuylen. In Oud Zuylen you can either take a little loop trough the old village and pass over the bridge to return on the other side of the water, or you simply turn around and run back! Everything looks different if you run back!
