Alcossebre is a small touristic village just one hour North of Valencia. The village has a couple of sandy beaches. Start at the Romana beach just South of the village center and follow the road to the South. In July and August this can be a crowded area, so in these months be sure to start before 9 in the morning. The rest of the year is quiet and running this road, which is parallel to the sea for at least 6 kilometers, will offer you some real old-Spanish relaxation. You can continue until the next village. Doing this offers you a course of at least 21 kilometers.
