If you are looking for a tough, 17k road killer in Nairobi, here it is. As I used to live in Muthaiga, I started there, ran to Muthaiga Mini market, down the hill to the right of it, where you have to go up again past the Canadian embassy, up to Village market. Be careful to stay on the paths as you have all the metatus driving quickly next to you. Keep going down and up the few hills past it and turn into Runda. Here it is quieter as you go all the way through Runda until you come out onto Kiambu Road. Then turn right and there is a turning left a few metres on, with lots of sign posts showing Windsor Club, Braburn School playing fields, Ridgeways Church etc. Turn in there and just keep following that road past the Ridgeways Church, Braburn playing fields, tea plantations all the way to Windsor Club, where you will be able to sleep by the swimming pool, relax in the sauna, have a massage after a long 17 kilometre run (if you are a member!).
