Another route is going around the British embassy and then running next to the creek, where you have a great view of everything the creek has to offer (the boats, skyline etc.). Then you can turn into the souks or just go straight on running next to the creek. It is a great tour of a run plus you look very different running through the souks! You are assured to catch many people's eyes!
