I used to live in Monterrey, and I am now in Mexico city. The places I am in love with are: Bosque de Chapultepec, a place sorrounded with awesome trees and if you go early in the morning, still in the dark (the place opens at 5 am) you have the hallmark of Chapultepec Castle which is a construction of the Imperial Palace of Maximilian von Hapsburg and the layout of a majestic avenue to connect the Castle with Mexico City (nowadays it is the National History Museum where important documents and memorabilia covering Mexican history from the Conquest until the Revolutionary period can be seen here). The second place is "Viveros" trees, pure nature and with many chipmunks running all over, but do not worry - they are harmless. I only know these two places, for now.
