There are plenty of places one can find to run in Buenos Aires. You probably will stay in a downtown hotel, where you can choose to run in the coast zone (Zona Costanera) and its ecological reserve. Any of the city center roads that come down towards the river (Corrientes, Belgrano, Independencia) will take you to the Puerto Madero area, well known for its diversity of restaurants. Behind that area and crossing the docks you will find a safe and wide lit zone. If you keep going towards the river you will find the ecological reserve that has got various internal paths, the longest being 8 kilometers. Be aware that the reserve opens at 7 am and closes at 7 pm. Instead, one can go to the north. Taking Avenida del Libertador from the train station Retiro. Going towards the north you will find a lot of parks and if you are looking for long distances you can arrive to the Palermo Bosques that is located roughly 3 kilometers from Retiro. This park has got an extension of 4 kilometers and is 1 kilometer wide with lakes and roads. Be aware not to run at night inside the park, do it along its perimeter.
