Most parks in Paris are too small and therefore too short to have a good running experience. I recommend the Parc St Cloud as one of my favorites (http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/invitation/accept.mb?key=MjQ4OTI3&senderPk.pkValue=9454). To get there simply pass by La Defense (Grande Arche) by metro and from there take the SNCF train (direction Versailles-Rive Droite, about a 10 minute ride on the train). From the train station it is about 200 meter to the closest entrance of the park (turn right and keep walking uphill). The park is quite big and as most other areas like that very popular to the Parisiens for all kind of leisure activities. You can choose from various types of surfaces and from light uphill to very steep. A complete round around the park is about 9 kilometers (5.6 miles). There are plenty of runners all over. From some positions you will have magnificent views over Paris and the Eiffel Tower. It is worth the 20 minutes ride as you will leave the traffic and related pollution behind you. Enjoy the run.
