Run The Planet is proud to introduce our new affiliate Run.com, the best running route resource on the web. If you are looking for a new London running route, or want to share your favorite London running routes with the rest of the word, Run.com is the place to be.
Many of the routes submitted here and more are also described in detail and with maps on my running club's website at www.serpentine.org.uk/routes/. For example, how about the Monopoly run round the locations on a British Monopoly board? Serpentine also welcomes out-of-towners on any of its training runs. Like many large cities, it is not how geographically far you are from many of the parks mentioned but whether they are accessible by public transport from where you are staying. A look at the London tube map can help you. Another good way of finding your way around on foot is to use the cycle maps which show quiet routes around back streets. You can pick these up for free from bike stores like Evans (www.evanscycles.com). Enjoy!
