From the Mall head south out of town along Barry Avenue towards Bannockburn running on the sandy reserve on the left of the road. Some 4 kilometers out of town (opposite Pearsons road) a walking /running track heads back to town alongside the lake. Follow the lake, past Old Cromwell, the bowling green and under the bridge and continue until the College Aquatic centre is reached. Turn left on the sealed road and head back into town (approximately 90 minutes).
